End User License Agreement
Standard Print / Desktop Licensing
1. License
Fonts are licensed to the Authorized User for use on one workstation or portable device at a single location. Temporary downloading to output device memory (printers) is permitted. Multiple user licenses are required for additional workstations.
2. Intellectual Property Rights
Studio Lipi remains the worldwide, sole, and exclusive owner of all intellectual property rights, title, and interest in the Font. You have a non-exclusive right to use the software only.
3. Ownership of Work Product
The user shall be the owner of the intellectual property rights of the designs or artworks created by using the Font.
4. Modifications
You shall not copy, adapt, modify, decompile, or alter the Font software in any manner that would result in the development of a new font.
5. Assignment
Selling, leasing, renting, or sub-licensing the Font is strictly prohibited for both personal and business purposes.
6. Third Party Use
Agencies, clients, or third parties developing content for the Authorized User must obtain their own separate license from Studio Lipi.
7. Embedding
Embedding in PDFs is permitted in secured, read-only mode. Embedding in apps, e-books, or websites requires a specific separate license.
8. Termination
Any breach of these terms results in immediate termination of the Agreement, and all copies of the font must be destroyed.
9. Warranties & Liability
Studio Lipi makes no warranties for compatibility and shall not be responsible for incidental or consequential damages. No refunds are offered for font purchases. Fonts are developed to be compliant with Unicode standards.
10. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Nepal. Any disputes relating to this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Kathmandu, Nepal.
