1. Unpacking the Files
The downloaded file from Studio Lipi will be in the form of a ZIP archive (.zip).
Windows
In Windows XP or newer, double-click on the ZIP file. It will open in a new window. You can then extract the contents to another folder.
Mac OS X
When you double-click on the ZIP file, a new folder containing the extracted files will be created next to the ZIP file.
Note: You can also use software like WinZip to unpack these files.
2. Installing on Windows
To install fonts on Windows 7 and up:
- Select the font files (look for the .ttf extension).
- Right-click on them and then click Install.
OR
- Go to Start > Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization > Fonts.
- To install the fonts, drag and drop the selected fonts into the Fonts window.
To install fonts on Windows Vista:
(If you don’t see the File menu, press ALT)
- Go to Start > Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization > Fonts.
- Click on File > Install New Fonts.
- In the Add Fonts dialog box, go to the desired folder location.
- Select the font files and click OK to install the fonts.
3. Installing on Mac OS
Using Direct Install:
- Double-click on the font file. A preview window will open.
- Click the "Install Font" button that appears below the font preview.
OR
Using Font Book:
- In Finder, click on Go > Applications > FontBook.
- In FontBook, click on the File menu and choose Add Fonts.
- Select the font or a folder containing multiple fonts, then click Open to install the font.
